4th July, 2022 – IQ Endoscopes appoint new Chairman, Martin Frost CBE
IQ Endoscopes Ltd, a medical device company creating a single use endoscopy platform to enable the early diagnosis of gastro-intestinal diseases, is delighted to announce the appointment of Martin Frost CBE as Chairman, effective from 1st July 2022. Martin is a highly recognised senior figure from the medical device industry, following his role as founding CEO of CMR Surgical. In 2019 he was awarded UK Entrepreneur of the Year in the Industry Disruptor category and Executive of the Year 2019 by Medtech Insight before receiving a CBE in 2020.
Since its successful seed funding round in July 2020 and subsequent Series A raise in September 2021, IQ Endoscopes Ltd has undergone rapid acceleration and achievement towards its aim of launching a new disruptive, single use endoscopic technology platform. Founding Chairman Dr Patrick Ward-Booth is stepping down from the position to allow Martin to use the knowledge and experience he possesses to guide the company through its next phase of growth. Patrick will remain on the Board of Directors as both a Founder and Clinical Director.
